Locke Lord Providence Partner Chris Graham Honored With Community ImpACT Award by Junior Achievement of Rhode Island

Chris Graham, Co-Office Managing Partner of Locke Lord’s Providence office, Co-Chair of the Firm’s Corporate and Transactional Department and Co-Chair of the Firm’s Corporate Practice Group, was honored with the Community ImpACT Award issued by Junior Achievement of Rhode Island (JARI) on May 2. The Community ImpACT Award is JARI’s highest honor given to exceptional community leaders who are dedicated to inspiring students to dream big and reach their potential. Graham is recognized for his long-standing commitment to the Rhode Island community as well as a ‎sustained demonstration of leading others, community service and mentoring. As Chair of JARI’s Executive Council and former Board Chair, Graham has devoted 40 years of service to the Rhode Island chapter of Junior Achievement, a national nonprofit dedicated to giving K-12 students the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their futures and make smart academic and economic choices.

Graham serves as counsel to many closely held New England businesses and several nonprofits, including the internationally recognized Gordon Research Conferences, and is also an active member and adviser to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Slater Technology Fund, a nonprofit seed venture fund that invests in Rhode Island technology companies. He also sits on the Board of Directors of the Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council, Rhode Island Businesses for Better Education, and the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce. In addition to serving as Chair of Teach For America’s Rhode Island Advisory Board, Graham chairs the Chamber’s Education Committee and serves on committees for the Rhode Island Foundation and the Rhode Island Supreme Court.
